01The Wealth Picture

How Will Your Investments
Support Your Retirement?

You may have built your savings across workplace retirement plans, IRAs and brokerage accounts. As you approach retirement or settle into it, those accounts need to work together to support your spending and long-term goals.

Social Security, pensions and other income may cover part of your expenses. Your portfolio needs a clear role in funding the rest, balancing cash for near-term spending with growth potential for the years ahead.

Gold Coast Capital Management reviews your accounts as one portfolio. We evaluate investment risk, cash reserves and expected withdrawals alongside your other income, then build and manage a strategy around your spending needs and retirement goals.

02Retirement & Wealth

An Investment Strategy for
Every Stage of Retirement

Retirement changes how you use the wealth you’ve built. Whether you’re preparing to retire or
already drawing on your savings, Gold Coast helps align your investments with your spending
needs, other income and the years ahead.

01

Preparing to Retire

Before you leave a regular paycheck behind, understand what your savings may need to provide. We compare expected spending with Social Security, pensions and other income, then evaluate how your portfolio fits your retirement date and future withdrawal needs.

02

Drawing on Your Savings

Once withdrawals begin, your portfolio needs to support current spending while remaining invested for the years ahead. We help plan which accounts to draw from, how much cash to keep available and how taxes may affect what you can spend.

03

Managing Market Changes

A market decline can feel different when you rely on your investments for income. We review your investment mix, cash reserves and planned withdrawals together, balancing money needed soon with growth potential for a retirement that may last decades.

04

Adapting as Life Changes

A move, rising healthcare costs or changes in your family can reshape what you need from your wealth. We revisit your spending, withdrawals and investment strategy as life changes, helping you weigh new priorities alongside your longer-term goals.

How does the complimentary portfolio review work?

We begin with a conversation about your retirement plans, current investments, spending needs and questions. Recent investment statements help us evaluate your accounts together, including your investment mix, risk, cash reserves, costs and relevant tax considerations. We also consider how Social Security, pensions and other income may support your spending.

We then explain what appears well positioned, what may deserve attention and whether changes could better support your retirement goals. The review is complimentary, with no obligation to become a client or transfer assets.

Can Gold Coast review my portfolio if I already have a financial advisor?

Yes. You can request an independent second opinion without leaving your current advisor or committing to any changes.

We evaluate whether your investments, cash reserves and planned withdrawals work together to support your retirement. If your portfolio is already well positioned, we will explain why. If we identify concerns, we walk you through them and discuss your options so you can make an informed decision.

How does Gold Coast help with retirement income and withdrawals?

We start with what you expect to spend and what Social Security, pensions and other income may cover. This helps us estimate how much you may need from your investments, whether you are preparing to retire or already drawing on your savings.

We help you evaluate an appropriate withdrawal amount, decide which accounts to draw from and determine how much cash to keep available for near-term spending. These decisions take into account your investment risk, retirement time horizon, relevant tax considerations and any required minimum distributions.

The goal is to support your spending today while keeping your portfolio positioned for the years ahead. We review the strategy as your needs and circumstances change, with attention to inflation, market conditions and long-term growth.

Gold Coast Capital Management does not provide individualized tax or legal advice. Clients should consult qualified tax and legal professionals regarding their specific circumstances.

Where are my investment assets held if I become a client?

Your investment assets are held in accounts in your name at Charles Schwab, which serves as the independent custodian.

Gold Coast manages your investments under the authority established in your advisory agreement. Schwab holds the assets and provides account statements and direct online access to your holdings, balances and transactions.

This gives you ongoing visibility into your accounts independently of Gold Coast.

What does it cost to work with Gold Coast?

The initial portfolio review is complimentary. For ongoing investment management, Gold Coast’s standard annual advisory fee is 0.50% of assets under management.

The fee covers ongoing portfolio management and investment guidance tailored to your retirement goals.

Gold Coast does not earn commissions from investment recommendations. Underlying fund expenses and any applicable third-party charges are separate from the advisory fee.

Complete details about fees and services are provided in the firm’s advisory agreement and regulatory disclosures.
